MergeCoinTreasure costs nothing to install, and "free" always has a mechanism behind it. Because the honest questions about a free game are commercial ones — who pays, what they get, what they learn — this policy starts there and deals with the rest afterwards.
Where the Free Version's Revenue Comes From
Two sources, and there is no third. Advertisers pay a network to place advertisements in the gaps between merges and in the optional reward slots, and the network pays us a share. Separately, some players buy coin bundles, chest keys, or the option to remove advertisements, and the marketplace passes us a share of that. There is no subscription, no data sale, and no arrangement where a third party pays us for information about players — if there were, it would have to be written here.
What an Advertiser Learns
Less than most people assume, and more than nothing. When an advertisement is requested, the network is told the advertising identifier your operating system issues, the country and language your device reports, the size of the slot, and afterwards whether the advertisement was displayed, tapped, or watched to the end. It is not told your name, your email, your phone number, your marketplace account, or where you are standing, because MergeCoinTreasure has none of those to tell it. The network then applies its own privacy terms to what it holds, and those terms are worth reading if you want the full picture of that side.
What Changes If You Turn Off Personalised Advertising
Your operating system controls this, not the game. Limiting or resetting the advertising identifier in system settings cuts the thread between what you are shown now and what you were shown before, and selection falls back to context — the slot, the country, the language. Advertisements still appear, because that is what funds the free build; they are simply chosen with less to go on. MergeCoinTreasure follows whatever your settings say and cannot work around them.
What Changes If You Buy the Advertisement Removal
The advertising network stops being called at all. No identifier is passed, no impressions are counted, and that entire section above stops applying to your copy of the game. Everything else — the save file, the crash reporting, the technical readings — carries on as described below, because those are about running the game rather than funding it.
What a Purchase Tells Us
The purchase itself happens inside the marketplace sheet, and the only thing that crosses back to us is a signed receipt: which product, at what moment, and whether validation passed. That is enough to drop the coins into your board and enough to look into a refund question later. It is not enough to identify you, and it is not linked to anything outside MergeCoinTreasure.
What We Never Receive
No card number, no expiry date, no security code, no bank account, no wallet balance, no billing address, and no marketplace password. Those are typed into Apple's or Google's own screen and stay on their side of the wall. Anyone claiming to be MergeCoinTreasure support and asking you for payment details is not us.
What the Game Records That Has Nothing to Do With Money
The board and your progress on it. Which tiles have been merged and to what tier, how many chests are unopened, how many coins and keys are held, which levels of the treasure track are complete, how long a session ran, and the switches you have set for sound, haptics, and animation speed. All of it is written into the app's private folder on your device, and there is no account to sign into, because the game never asks who you are.
What the Device Tells the Game
A merge board has to fit screens from a small phone to a large tablet, so at launch MergeCoinTreasure reads the device model, the system release, its own build number, the screen's width, height and pixel density, the memory tier, the configured language and region, and the connection type. These describe equipment, not a person, and we do not stitch them into a profile.
What a Crash Sends
If the app stops unexpectedly, a report is assembled: where in the code it stopped, the calls leading up to that point, memory in use, the device readings above, and a timestamp. Engineers read these to find the fault. Once the fault is fixed the report is thrown away.
What You Send Us Yourself
Only what you decide to send. Writing to support hands us the address you write from, your description of the problem, whatever files you attach, and a receipt reference if the question is about a purchase. It is read to answer you and thrown away when the matter is closed.
Who Handles Each Part
The advertising network handles advertisement selection and measurement. An analytics service receives progression counters and launch readings so we can see which merge tier stalls players. A crash service receives failure reports. The marketplace handles distribution and receipt validation. Each receives only the fields it needs, acts on our instruction, and publishes its own terms; none of them is allowed to resell what it receives, and neither do we.
Beyond those four, information leaves only under a legal order that binds us, or where it is needed to investigate a security incident or protect someone from harm.
How Long Each Record Lasts
The board and its progress last as long as MergeCoinTreasure is installed. Receipts last for the period accounting rules set. Crash reports end with their fault. Progression counters end up as totals with no single install recoverable from them. Support threads end with the answer. Whatever the advertising network holds is governed by that network's own retention policy rather than ours.
How Records Are Protected
Encrypted transport on the way to us, access controls once there, and a short list of people who can reach the stored side at all. We are deliberately holding little, which limits how much a failure could expose. A network-connected system is never beyond compromise, so treat this as a description of care taken rather than a guarantee.
Players Under Thirteen
MergeCoinTreasure is aimed at a general audience, not at children under thirteen, and personal information is not knowingly gathered from them. If a parent or guardian believes a child has been in touch with us, official support will find the material and remove it.
Asking for Your Record
Local law may let you request a copy of what is held for your install, a correction, a deletion, a restriction on some use of it, or a portable export. Requests go through official support and need the installation reference from the settings screen, since no name is attached to anything. What the law obliges us to keep, or what is needed to stop fraud, remains after everything else is cleared.
Changes to This Page
If the monetisation changes — a new network, a new purchase type, advertisements added or dropped — this page changes with it, along with any change forced by a supplier or by law. The text published on our official channels is the text that applies.
